The effects of global warming on the climate of Iraq، especially temperature، have had a significant impact.

In the study of the great temperatures in Iraq for the period 2001-2010، there was a clear trend of increase especially during 2010 and for all stations in the study area Global warming resulting from industrial activities، means of transport، transportation، and chlorofluorocarbons.

This change in temperature has taken a general trend، which has affected the various natural and environmental phenomena in Iraq، by increasing the amount of evaporation from Tigris and Euphrates water، and resulting from serious environmental problems including desertification and the problem of creeping sand dunes.
