Abstract EN

This study aimed at identify the degree of including literature and texts of the preparatory Stage in Iraq ethical and aesthetic values.

The population of the study consisted of literature and textsbook in the preparatory stage in Iraq assigned for the academic year 2013/2014 by the Ministry of Education of the republic of Iraq.

To achieve the objectives of the study, content analysis method was used.

After the construction of the study analysis tool of the ethical and aesthetic values which has been verified validity and reliability The meaning full senten as a uni of analysis.

The tool was applied on the textbooks of (fourth, fifth, and sixth class) in the preparatory stage.

Frequency and percentage were used to answer the questions about the study.

the researcher recommended a number of recommendations, including the need to include literature and texts ethical and aesthetic values
