After the revolution of the twenty-third of July, Egypt re-formulated its African policy, especially that policy has been formed and determined its features after studies and a deep assessment of national interests, So Egypt has taken strong initiatives in the development its relationship with various African countries, As it was able to reach decisions that develop projects supported by the political, military and economic study, generated the idea of African unity and adopted some national liberation movements in the face of colonialism and carry out focused media and diplomacy campaigns, and opened its doors to the leaders of the National Movement and allocated offices in Cairo, and supported the right of peoples to self-determination and its mandate for independence, It provided assistance to support and strengthen its will.

It also contributed to the rescue of many African countries.

It provided loans, concluded economic agreements and contributed to the implementation of reconstruction projects, thus Egypt became a symbol of national revolution and unity on the African continent at the time.
