I addressed in my research a subject that a lot of researchers were interest in, which is the method of Argument, it is a subject that is considered a division of the verbal act, arguing is a constant topic in any dialogue, the speaker is trying to give proves that supports his stand that he submits to the addressed, and I was thinking, that I was applying this theory to poetry, as it is a literature art that uses language as a substantial element and the poet needs to support his stand by convincing arguments, because not all the poetries are imaginations and exaggerations and addressing the hearts, as a some scientists who live now or lived in the past think.

And because the recency of the poetry of the Diaspora and the merging of kinds with different characteristics from the classic poetry, I decided to apply Argument theory on it, the poet of the Diaspora needs proves to convince the addressed because he left his country or bearing the pain of being an expatriate or to defend his case I divided the research into an introduction and two chapters; in the introduction Arguments concept and Development.

In the first chapter I addressed theoretically about the definition of (arguing) and the opinions of scientists about it in the past and now and how its concept developed.

I also addressed the mechanism of persuading and its methods and the factors and correlations and its role in arguing.

And in the second chapter I addressed the application of the theory on poetic models from the Diaspora and I concluded the research with the most important results that I reached: The language is argumentative either it was prose or poetry and the poet just like other people needs argument to convince the addressed with an objective or certain goal, despite describing some Diaspora poetry as weak but beautiful, and through that poetry a very famous names became prominent, and despite using modernity and changing some rimes and using new subjects but they used the same mechanism for convincing that were used in the past, I found that the arguing applications are a lot and divers and difficult to address it in on article, it includes applications such as rhetoric and linguistic philosophic.
