This study aims to search and know the coded symbols and forming design graphic notion which wishes to spread out the notion which will be got from the hopeful group of expressing the goals.

Because the coded symbols are very important items which are used in graphic texts for the magazines covers for its denotation to many various and active senses in design and showing effective period in daily life in its different descriptions, the coded symbol is considered one of the visual communication means which leads to objective messages reflects the notion of design towards certain case in addition to the ability of coded symbols to give rise to inferences materializes the design notion which serves the design graphic in addition to its being visual field which invested in spreading out the visual coded symbolic message, the research arranged in many chapters, the first chapter indicates the problem and appeared in the following query ……1-What is the role of coded symbols in forming design and graphic notion?
