Abstract EN

This study aims to discuss the requirements to achieving financial inclusion in Algeria by analyzing the problem of the ability to bridge the digital divide in to design a national strategy for financial inclusion based on digital technologies? The study focused on the importance of digital technology in supporting financial inclusion, evaluating indicators of financial inclusion and identifies the digital divide in Algeria and the possibilities to overcome.

The study concluded that Algeria concerned with digital transformation and the transition to government and private digital transactions, This contribute to reducing the digital divide.

The study recommends that it is necessary to ensure safe, affordable and highest-quality access to Internet services; Benefiting from the experiences of the MENA region to engage in digital transformation through cooperation between the public and private sectors; Take advantage of the benefits of financial services provided by mobile phones as part of the ways to earn income.
