Algeria's dependence mainly on the hydrocarbon sector has made the general budget of Algeria closely linked to fluctuations in oil prices in global markets, and this is a result of the fact that public revenues in Algeria are distinguished by a special advantage that is a large part of it is derived from petroleum revenue revenues, which was evident during The crisis of low oil prices since mid-2014, which had a significant negative impact on the budget and control of the state's public finances.

Through this research paper, we will try to highlight and formulate some general principles and measures that are important for managing and evaluating fiscal policy in light of the effects that fluctuations in oil prices have on the public budget in Algeria.
