For today's citizen, “globalization” has come to mean a more complex system of interdependence in the economic spheres, but also in the social and cultural spheres.

Unlike previous centuries, individuals as well as society are confronted with the global reality of "continuous interaction", a process that has been further accelerated by the rapid development of information technology, with pervasive anthropological consequences.

It demonstrates that, under these conditions, the sovereign nation-state - whether large or small, weak or powerful - cannot continue to function as a completely isolated entity, and that due to the multidimensional nature of globalization, the balance of power between states has become more dynamic, and in Time itself is more fragile and unpredictable.
