The study aimed to demonstrate the relationship of agreement and difference between the semantics and the linguistic pragmatism, by presenting a brief presentation of their concepts in language and their fields and exposing the problems of defining the concept.

The study revealed the difference between deliberative and linguistic levels in: (grammar - semantics).

The study concluded by enumerating the most prominent differences between semantics and pragmatism, which center around that semantics is a branch of theoretical linguistics, while deliberativeness falls under the framework of applied linguistics.
