among the most important results: those who have deep faith, righteous manners, and those who are zealous over the purity of souls and the honor of people are desperate to deflect their religion, and for everything that god almighty has commanded to defend, as the wisdom of god-glory be to him-required that his just punishment for criminals be proportionate to their crimes and their ugliness, confirms this, that when the people of lot- peace be upon him- turned the situation, and left what god permitted them, and indulged in what he forbade him- the punishment was consistent with their ugliness, as he punished them by making what is higher down and whoever dear became humiliated.
