Abstract EN

The study was designed to identify the logical thinking of the students of Tikrit University and to identify logical thinking according to the variable of the mathematics specialization.

The sample consisted of (202) students randomly selected from the Mathematics and Physics Departments, Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences, Tikrit University, The researchers used the following statistical methods: (Alpha-Cronbach equation, T-test for one sample, T-test for two independent counts).

The following results were reached: 1- The students of the University of Tikrit enjoy a high level of logical thinking.2 - The level of logical thinking among students of the Department of Mathematics is higher than the students of the Department of Physics.
