Abstract EN

The study reviewed the most important factors that determine the Iraqi position on the American-Iranian competition, and the most important effects on Iraq.

Also, reviewed the competing powers strategies, and the official Iraqi position, and the policies that the Iraqi government can follow, and its results.

Finally, The study concluded that; the Iraq because of its geographical location, and the political, security and economic reality, it is at the "HEART" of the crisis, and that its potential repercussions will affect more than one side.

Therefore, the Iraqi government must not support any side, and support all efforts that seeks to find peaceful solutions through diplomatic means
