The problem of the hijab, which has spread in the country of Assyria without us from the rest of Mesopotamia, is a puzzle that stirred in our hearts and that I should look into this matter, and try to clarify and reveal the reasons that made the country of Assyria impose the veil on women.

Through the research we tried to ask questions about the reasons for the spread of the veil in Assyria, as well as shed light on the external and internal factors that led to the wearing of women's Assyrian veil, I first began to define the veil terminology in the language and what it means, as well as other words and terms that It gives a similar meaning to the hijab, and we have shown the difference between wearing the hijab from urban women and rural women.
