Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the narrative and systemic miracles in the Holy Quran through the rhetorical analysis of Surat Noah focusing on the Qur’anic miracle in terms of the locative context (the location of the surah in the Qura'n; its descending order and its arrangement in the Qur’an) and contexual context (the form of the surah and the analysis of the most prominent rhetorical figures that came in the verses of the surah from its beginning to its conclusion).

The research follows the integrative approach that relies on the inductive approach on the one hand and the descriptive approach on the other.

The research is divided into an introduction, a preface, two chapters and a conclusion followed by the references.

The introduction contains the aim of the subject, the plan and the methodology.

The preface includes the general meaning of the Surah mentioning its text, the unity of its purpose, the science of events and its aspects of miracles.

The first chapter handles the narrative miracles in the locative context of the surah in terms of the location of the surah between the chapters (Suar) of the Qur’an, the order of its descent, the reason for the repetition of the story, the relation between the beginning of the surah and its purpose, its conclusion, and what preceded and followed it.

It also shows the Surah's unique vocabularies, the secret of its form and the miraculous nature of this form.

The second chapter deals with the narrative miracles in the contexual context of the surah in terms of the most important rhetorical types and techniques that helped to clarify the meaning, its appearance and the miracle of its form.

The conclusion contains the results of the research such as: the appropriatness between the surah and what preceded and followed it is one of the secrets of its miracle, and what appeared to be a repetition of the story was not so, but every time the story was mentioned it carried a new detail and meaning that did not come in the previous one.

Also, the rhetoric that came in the surah was a tool for explaining the secret of the miracle in the Surah's form, whereby the ingenuity of the initiation had its role in explaining the rhetoric of the surah's form and its connection to the conclusion of the previous surah and its compatibility with it; the perfect conclusion and its relation to the beginning of the next Surah and its suitability with it, and its relevance to the beginning of Surat Noah.

Also, the use of stating sentences (statements) more than interrogative sentences, made the stating sentences embraced the interrogative sentences and depicted the emotions of the Prophet of God, Noah, peace be upon him, and showed his suffering from his people because the interrogative sentences made the statements stronger and with both the impressive moving image is completed.

Likewise, the assertion that came at the beginning of the surah and continued with its opening sentences until its end fulfilled the psychological and moral meanings it wanted beside the unique words of the surah that were consistent in the Surah’s form and was a miracle of its pronunciation and form.
