Abstract EN

This research investigates and analyses some installation textile art works of textile artists by using plastic and artistic media that achieve transparency in a weaving work.

It also identifies their contemporary plastic formulation techniques.

The research aims to study contemporary weaving works that were installed in space as well as to identify their philosophical, artistic, and plastic aspects to benefit in describing and analysing of weaving works that were based on methodical formation of transparency.

Note that, this research follows a descriptive analytical approach.

The researcher concluded that the main finding of this work is that the recognition of transparency as a value possesses artistic and plastic capabilities which helped contemporary weaving artists of the installation textile art in the invention of their contemporary weaving designs through benefiting from intellectual and artistic techniques.

Furthermore, the researcher recommended to exploit the intellect, philosophy, principles, and methods of contemporary art styles and link it with the weaving art field in order to enrich the field of hand weaving as well as to take the contemporary weaving designs from the space of tradition to a broader horizon via the philosophical thought.
