Abstract EN

The research deals with the augmented reality technology and how to invest it and benefit from it in enriching the functional values of the printmaking through digital media in augmented reality applications.

The problem of the research is summarized in the following question: How can the augmented reality be invested in enriching the functional values of the printmaking? The research aims to invest the augmented reality in enriching the functional values of the printmaking.

The researcher followed the descriptive analytical method where the research included an analysis of printmaking works that dealt with the augmented reality technology.

One of the research results is that the digital media has an important role in enriching the functional values of the printmaking, and that the use of semantic symbolic content in the form of images and animated media leads to enhance the content of messages that the artist wants to deliver to the recipient.

The researcher also concluded that the use of augmented reality in the printmaking leads to the augmenting of the sensory perceptions of the recipient which contributes in the effectiveness of the connection.

The researcher recommended to pay more attention to making more researches in the field of the augmented reality technology and benefit from its advanced abilities.

In addition, she recommends the focus on developing the sensory perceptions of the recipient which contributes in enriching the functional values through the interaction between him and the printmaking work.

She also recommended making research about the modern technologies in the field of the artificial intelligence which contributes in enriching the functional values in the field of printmaking.
