Our research deals with the problem of trying to find out why the awareness of the value of art education has been absent.

The researcher found this problem during her work as a supervisor and asked her questions about whether there is interest for students and educators in art education.

Is there interest in the impact of contemporary culture on art education? Therefore, the research aims to identify the problems that led to the lack of awareness of the value of art education and the difficulties of teaching.

The most important findings of the research are the existence of a set of difficulties and obstacles that are of varying effect in the absence of awareness about the value of art education, such that there are difficulties faced by the teacher during the teaching of art education materials such as lack of knowledge of the teacher in different areas of art education or low level of some students In art education materials and perhaps the weakness of the teaching efficiency of some teachers of art education as well as the limited view by the community of teachers of art education and also the lack of influence of contemporary culture on the artist's creativity.

In front of the most important recommendations reached by the researcher was included in the intensification of training courses to increase the expertise of teachers of art education and determine the content of the decisions of art education in a precise and in line with the requirements of the community and the benefit of students as well as in raising awareness of the families of students and the community and the importance and value of art education to be studied, The need to increase the establishment of exhibitions to feed the economic field and the artist's contact with the community to know the wishes of the recipient and the development of artistic and cultural sense and taste, and emphasis on building the character of the student to provide the appropriate atmosphere for him to exercise his expression, And take care of his interests and meet his needs, through the various artistic activities offered by art education in the social environment.
