Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the role of my immortal language teacher manual in improving the instructional practices and its impediments as perceived by Arabic language female teachers and female teacher students.

To achieve the study objectives, the researcher adopted the survey descriptive methodology, as the researcher prepared a questionnaire of two divisions: the first includes 77 sentences under 8 fields to improve the instructional practices, the second examined the impediments thereto (which are 17 impediments).

The questionnaire has been applied to a sample totaling 106 female teachers and 74 female teacher students in the second term of the academic year 2017-2018, in Medina Munawarah.

The study findings revealed that the use of manual improved the instructional practices was at middle degree with (2,89); the impediments preclude its effectiveness was at significant degree with (3,54); these findings weren't affected by the variable of instructional experience, but affected by the variable of gender, whereas there were statistically significant differences at Significance Level 0.05 among the female teachers and female teachers students in favor of female teachers.

In the light of study findings, the researcher recommended to develop the teacher's manual in terms of form and substance, especially for substandard fields and components; to overcome the constraints of achieving the manual's objectives.
