To identify the different types of decorative strips, to study the technological methods used in designing and embroidering women's clothing ribbons, to develop innovative designs for women's clothing ribbons using specialized design and embroidery programs, and to analyze the opinions of specialists in women's clothing design.

The research follows both the descriptive analytical approach and the experimental approach to achieve the objectives of the study.

The sample of the research included specialists (20) who are members of the Faculty of Design and Home Economics - Qassim University Department of Fashion Design to judge the designs.

The theoretical development includes: Different types of decorative strips in terms of raw materials, assistance and decorative methods.

The historical development of the different tapes and styles of the design and the applied framework includes: Preparing the designs of the decorative strips Adobe Illustrator CS3 The results of the research include answering the research questions, and the preference of the design for the specialists as follows: Axis I / Design VI was the best designs followed by the design XIV and then design XV and XVII.

The second axis / the fourth design was the best designs followed by the eighth design and then the eleventh design and then the seventh design.

The most important recommendations were: Activate the computer labs in the Faculty of Designs and Home Economics to introduce the drawing and design systems for the embroidery of the machine for use by the students in the work of the projects.
