Abstract EN

This research paper sheds light on the nature of the relationship between the political struggles within the Syrian opposition and its ability to produce a certain political “format” in an attempt to preserve the dynamics of the revolution.

The findings revealed correlational imbalances between existing organizational structures and the will of opposition financiers.

Entities and persons financing through direct funding and provision of weapons were also shaping the ideas of the ready-made conglomerates, thus diverting them from the initial demands of the revolution.

This reflected in their lack of investment initiative vision in regard to professional independent and objective media policy.

As a consequence of this condition, the fragmentation and division inside the opposition is evident and has manifested into symptoms of professional media poverty across oppositional platforms.

The opposition’s lack of consideration for wishes emanating from the Syrian people has stained the opposition’s objectiveness and positivity whilst following a path of deviation for various purposes
