The central region of Morocco was known in zaian, known for its great resistance to the colonizer, as the battle of El Heri was the first battle in which the French suffered heavy losses, indicating their military heritage and military tactics that made them pose a concern for the "mkhzen" for a long time before the protection authorities reached the area.

In the pages of this article, we try to identify the most important sources of their obtaining weapons and their warfare tactics, then we turn to talking about some examples of their heritage related to the resistance and the status of women in all of this.
