Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the obstacles that impede the practical application when teaching jurisprudences from the perspective of the Islamic studies teachers and supervisors.

The study sample consisted of (275) teachers and (22) supervisors.

The study instrument was designed in the form of a questionnaire which included (25) items distributed in four dimensions: First, difficulties related to the teacher; the second, difficulties related to the learners; the third, difficulties related to the curriculum; and the fourth, difficulties related to the educational environment.

The results of the study showed that the study sample agreed that the dimension of the educational environment represented the highest degree of difficulty.

The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences between the teachers and supervisors' attitudes towards the difficulties related to the Islamic studies teachers in favor of the supervisors.

There were no statistically significant differences between teachers and supervisors' views regarding the difficulties related to the learner, the curriculum and the educational environment.

The study recommended the need to extend the beliefs of the practical application when teaching jurisprudences among the Islamic studies teachers and supervisors in order to help students acquire jurisprudences, skills, and attitudes.

It also recommended the need to provide a suitable and appropriate educational environment that includes all required facilities, especially these related to the infrastructure needed by the learners to perform the acts of worshiping such as special places of prayers and ablutions.
