This research deals with the trades and professions in the Gilgamesh epic.

The Gilgamesh epic is one of the most important texts that contain a lot of information about the lives of people in the early stages of Mesopotamia.

Many of the trades and professions that were common in Uruk at the time Wood, hunting, carpentry, blacksmithing, construction, making statues, ornaments, hunting pearls, shellfish, etc., and then finding out the reality of crafts and professions in the era of the Gilgamesh Epic, whose historians date back to the dawn of the dynasties 3000 to 2,400 BC.
