The research aims at estimating the volume of water flow to one of the most important valleys located Northeast of Maysan Governorate along the Iraqi-Iranian border, valley Lobiter, and the environmental effects caused by the water floods taking place in this valley.

In order to reach more objective and accurate results, Through the application of the Snyder model, which required the application of (13) mathematical equation as successive steps to draw the unit Hydrograph of the basin of this valley The most important finding of the research is that the maximum volume of the flood in the Lobiter basin is about 131 million cubic meters, and the maximum surface runoff suitable for the flow peak in this basin reached about 751 mm, The maximum value of power plants in the basin amounted to 111.8.

The research revealed that there are many damage caused by the water floods of this valley to the surrounding areas of the Iraqi side such as destruction of roads, arches, bridges, farms, sand and gravel quarries.
