The 1967 war between Egypt and Israel constituted an important link in the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict, as it caused a radical transformation in the Middle East after the results of this war.

Those who follow the history of the Arab-Israeli wars starting from the year 1948 AD will notice the Arab initiative in declaring war on Israel, and the Six-Day War did not limit this line after the movements of Gamal Abdel Nasser.

This study deals with the preludes to the Six Day War and the important decisions that followed the war, and how it transformed from an Egyptian initiative into an Arab setback.
