Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the academic climate of the university students, and to identify thinking styles, and differences in thinking styles according to variable (gender and specialization), and finally to know the relationship between the academic climate and thinking styles.

In order to verify the objectives of the research, the researchers prepared the Academic Climate Scale, which consists of (20) items, and the thinking styles and consists of (21) items.

The researchers applied the two scales to a sample of students of the second stage at the University of Mustansiriya of both genders, and specialization (scientific and human).

where the number (100) students were chosen by random stratified method.

After statistical processing and data analysis, the results showed that the students have an academic climate, as well as have thinking styles.

There are no differences in thinking styles according to gender and specialization.

The results showed no statistically significant relationship between academic climate and thinking styles.

In the light of the results, the researchers reached a number of recommendations and proposals.
