Abstract EN

The president is considered the highest authority in the state since ancient times.

The president and the God were two sides of one coin.

The president lost the status of divinity and continued to derive his powers and the right to assume the presidency from God.

With the emergence of democratic principles that modern and contemporary regimes sought to include in their constitutions, the leadership of the president was based on the constitution, which expressed the will of the people.

On the basis of the principle of separation of powers, the president was given the task of the executive one, which was responsible for enacting the laws effectively enacted by the legislative authorities.

In Syria and the United States, the head of state "the president" is considered the basis of the political system in the country.

S/he has executive, legislative and leadership powers.

In this research, we tried to explain the relationship between the president and the executive authority, and to clarify the relationship between his/her position and the legislative authority in two sections preceded by an introduction.

At the end of our research, we presented the results that we have reached.

The president is an independent authority from the legislative and executive authorities.

Syrian constitution 2012 is considered the most powerful party for the executive, as is the case for the legislative authority where the Syrian president can dissolve the People's Council to elect a new council with a majority in favor of it.

In the United States, there is no partner for the president in his/her executive powers, and in the relationship with the Congress, the president has a lot of means through which s/he can influence Congress to be able to implement the president's policy.
