Abstract EN

The present study investigates the nature of the impact of interaction of internal and external environment variables to coordinate any assumed political process at the level of any political system.

The direction of this relationship is determined on the basis of a set of indicators related directly to the stability of the units and conditions of both environments.

Perhaps the phenomenon of political reform which is linked to several theories such as the theory of political development, the theory of economic development or firstly the theory of democracy and the theory of political modernization, is a good model to test the nature and direction of that relationship.

Although it represents an internal demand and an urgent justified need - especially for the third world countries since the end of the colonial era – political reform is at the same time an inevitable consequence of external pressures on many existing political regimes (perhaps Algeria is one of them) regarding the demands and aspirations of their peoples and to adapt with the changes of the international environment.
