This research paper aims to determine the importance of information and communications technology in activating electronic commerce as one of the most important modern methods adopted by many countries in supporting their economies and developing and improving the performance of their commercial operations, and Algeria is like other countries that seek to confront local and international changes imposed by the new digital economy through Effective use of information and communication technologies in a manner that contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of economic institutions and thus achieving efficient and effective achievement of its strategic goals and achieving sustainable growth.
