Abstract EN

We tried through this paper to highlight the significant role played by the information and communication technology in the establishment and activation of e-government in Algeria.

First, we dealt with the most important efforts made by the Algerian government in all fields in order to establish the e-government, and we highlight the main obstacles encountered in order to achieve this goal.

Finally, we have proposed a set of recommendations that will help to achieve and activate the e-government in Algeria
