Abstract EN

This study aimed at addressing the relationship between wages and unemployment in Algeria during the period 1980-2016 through conducting an analytical and standard study through a standard model that determines the nature of the relationship between them in the long term using the model of joint integration.

The results showed an inverse relationship between them.

Its compatibility with economic theories and previous studies, and also an inverse relationship in the short term through error correction testing.
