Abstract EN

Financial intermediation plays a vital role in financing the national economy.

As a result of this financial intermediation, a financial market is created.

This market combines the monetary and financial markets with one another.

The two markets aim to achieve the same goal of transferring the financial surplus from savers to owners.

The need is financial and they are investors, using intermediary institutions that may be bank financial or non-bank financial, It is through this research that we tried to shed these concepts on the Algerian reality by showing the role and difficulties of bank financing on the one hand and the reality of the financial market in Algeria, represented mainly on the Algerian Stock Exchange on the other hand.

This study concluded that the role of the banking system in mobilizing national savings should be strengthened, in addition to activating the ASE as an alternative mechanism for financing the national economy.
