The establishment of the Almoravid State in the early 5th century AH (11 century AD) is attributed to the men who devoted themselves and their spirits for their cause with reformist ideals, led by their spiritual inspirer Abdullah bin Yassin and the leader Yusuf ibnTashifin.

The Islamic Maghreb was one of the regions where the Almoravids were devoted for God's cause against any assaults on the coast or on the south that witnessed the establishment of the Almoravid State latter.

Due to the various archeological remains of buildings, mosques and alleys in Algiers, Tlemcen, Ndurma and Tindouf, one delineates that Algeria witnessed the rise of the Almoravid civilisation.

Architecture in The era Almurbati is characterized with simplicity, refinement, beauty and without any connotations for luxury prioritizing the elements of strength and resistance before art and decoration.
