This contributes directly to the establishment of a new society with new techniques and technologies for the digital economy that relies on information and communication technologies.

This study explores the connotations of the concept of the city in the light of the successive developments achieved in information and communication technologies.

It discusses the new terminology of the city concept through studying the technical concepts of cities and clarifying the characteristics and techniques that describe the concept of the contemporary technological city.
