Abstract EN

This study examines and analyzes the upper half of an unpublished statue, which was found by the Alexandria Museum in 1942 at the Serapeum area in Alexandria, on the northeast side of the Bombay Column.

It was deposited at the Alexandria Museum, until it was recently transferred to the Great Egyptian Museum in Giza.

This paper presents a scientific publication of this statue, where the study was divided into a descriptive study, followed by an analytical study and a conclusion with the results of the study.

In the descriptive study, the basic data of the statue were examined, in terms of the type of stone and dimensions, where it was found, the current place, and the period to which it belongs, then a description of the technical features of the statue, and then read and translate the texts engraved on the column supporting the back of the statue, they are seven vertical lines of text.

In the analytical study were examined the technical features of the statue and also the clothes and wig.

Then study all the texts engraved on the back column containing the text of the offering formula, followed by many titles of the statue owner, in addition to a set of qualities of the statue owner.

It is noticeable that the name of the statue owner was lost with the lower half of the statue.

Finally, a conclusion containing the results of the study.
