Through our research paper, we have tried to learn the role played by the Algerian mediation to resolve the internal military conflict in Mali, the decades-long conflict that has had a direct impact on regional security and peace.

Algeria has failed to play the role of an honest and effective mediator between the parties to the crisis in the State of Mali and always preferred to resolve international disputes by peaceful means.

The Algerian diplomacy has succeeded in convincing the warring parties to sign many peace agreements, like the Tamanrasset Agreements of 1991, 2006 and the convention of 2015.
