The study aimed to uncover the relationship between social media addiction and the phenomenon of harassment and violence against women in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the differences between the age group of 30-40 and those over 41 years of age in the two study variables, and the study sample consisted of (50) women in the Center Protecting the family in Jordan.

The measure of social media addiction and the phenomenon of harassment and violence against women was designed, and their psychometric characteristics were calculated.

The results concluded that there are statistically significant correlations between social media addiction and the phenomenon of harassment and violence against women.

The age of 30-40 is more likely to be addicted to social media and the phenomenon of harassment and violence than the group over the age of 41, and the results have been interpreted in light of the findings of previous studies, and the conclusion of a set of recommendations and proposed research.
