Abstract EN

The research was divided into several axes, the researcher used it with an introductory chapter, as an introduction, which included :Dealing with the concept of violence and harassment against women in the law ‘Cinema in presenting social phenomena, and reviewing issues of violence against women in Egyptian society .

In the first chapter, under the title "Egyptian cinema and issues of violence against women," the researcher dealt with cinemas in monitoring and analyzing all issues, through films presented in this field, with mentioning the types of issues raised.

As for the second chapter, the researcher presented detailed examples of the Egyptian films, which were distinguished in presenting a specific case, from issues of violence and sexual harassment against women, in the societies: rural and urban.The researcher chose five films that reflect the most important issues of violence against women.

Specifically: 1- “Doaa Al Karawan” directed by “Henri Barakat” 1959 AD 2- “The Second Wife” directed by “Salah Abu Seif ’ 1967 AD 3- “Something of Fear” directed by “Hussein Kamal” 1969 CE 4- “We do not plant thorns” Directed Hussein Kamal "1970 AD 5- "Dreams of Hind and Camelia "directed by" Muhammad Khan "in 1988.

Based on this study, and after completing it completely, the researcher reached a set of results (six results), outlined in them, and by analogy with that, the researcher came with a set of recommendations (five recommendations) that might reach the concerned authorities, to put them in mind, to reach The hoped-for solutions that respond to the people's calls and their legislative, legal and humanitarian needs.

In the end, the researcher put together a list of proven sources and references, which he used in presenting his study, along with presenting some video clips, related to the research topic.

The study concluded by providing a brief biography of the researcher.
