Abstract EN

The study aimed to address one of the old issues that remain despite urbanization and development and in spite of strict international and local laws, which is the issue of sexual harassment against a minor girl.

It also aimed to clarify the psychological, social and sexual effects of sexual harassment of minors and to find out the extent to which these negative effects persist beyond marriage, as well as on the way to protect children.

We relied on a case study approach.

Whereas, the research sample was a 45-year-old woman who was subjected to sexual harassment in the first stage of childhood by a cousin, and that harassment continued for 6 years, The results showed that sexual harassment of a minor girl has negative effects on the psychological, social and sexual state of the victim, such as anxiety, tension, fear, and limited social relations with the tension of the marital relationship, in addition to excessive protection of children and lack of confidence in others.
