The Argument in the Reminder Speech at Shaykh Abdul Hamid Ben Badis This article aims at identifying the most important argumentative aspects in the explanatory text in Ben Badis' works.

The argument is considered as an opened space for different human knowledge, which led researchers focusing their interests and works on it.

The explanatory text is considered as one or as part of argumentative texts stating from its structure, from the selection of linguistic means and its awareness of the expression levels and the selection of methods and styles, in order to have at the end an explanatory text at linguistic level, side to side with the modern spirit, and what is the nowadays requirement, which is the feature that characterizes the explanatory speech of Ben Badis.

Therefore, the aim of the article is to highlight the most important mechanisms that characterize the argumentative speech of Ben Badis.
