Abstract EN

The Arabic poem has known over time several attempts of rebellion and renewing.

The rebellion movement advocated by contemporary poets was the most important because it gave birth to a new pattern in prosody, known as 'Taf'yla poem'.

After the poet expressed his distress and weariness of the old poetic template and its restrictions, the contemporary Arab poet needed a new template that could respond to the requirements of modern time and help him to express his feelings and emotions freely.

This study attempts to explore this phenomenon in contemporary Algerian poetry through the collection of “A Man from the Land of al-Ḥallāj by Ahmed Dalil”.

The study also attempts find out answers to some questions related to the reasons for the poet's rebellion against the old template of the prosody patterns, and the aspects concerned by this rebellion.

Finally, we will examine to what extent Ahmed Dalil was able to embody his poetic vision technically and aesthetically
