Abstract EN

This paper aims at dealing with several issues and concepts related to art and its philosophy.

These issues can be understood from determining the concept of the term art which has embodied several concepts changing from one philosopher to another, showing how this concept has moved from Greek civilization to Islamic civilization, mentioning the factors which had made this shift easy, which resulted in a new Muslim philosophers’ vision of philosophy of art different from the Greek vision.

Among Islamic philosophers and pioneers, who studied art and its philosophy and published in the artistic field: Ibn Khaldun, Al-Tawhidi and Al-jahiz who are considered to be the founders of Islamic art and its philosophy.
