Abstract EN

This study aims to examine the relationship between computing the historical dictionary and its impact on modernizing the arabic language, on the basis of the great importance that historical dictionaries represent for all languages, which we can discern in the Arabic language through the Doha Historical Dictionary Project, which we reached through a descriptive critical reading to be the first real arabic historical dictionary, and that it is a huge renaissance project, with historical, cognitive, and civilizational dimensions, which calls for unifying efforts and strengthening aims to make this ambitious initiative succeed, in the service of the Arabic language.
