Abstract EN

This article deals with the course of fictional criticism in Algeria, it defined transformations imposed by the social and historical events , condemned it to depend initially on contextual approaches before opening up to the new Western achievement that is provided with procedural tools to approach the narrative text.

Although it showed an epistemological maturity in treating terms and concepts, it fell in a crisis of applying its sayings and adapting them to the nature of the Arabic fictional text.

This necessitated thinking about a new methodological concept that can create new perspectives.
