يعتبر الزجاج مادة مألوفة بالنسبة لنا حتى أن وجوده يبدوا لنا أكثر طبيعية.
و مع ذلك فان النجاح في تحويل الرمال إلى زجاج ثم العمل به بألف طريقة مختلفة قد تتطلب عدة ابتكارات و تقنيات كما أن مسالة اكتشاف مادة الزجاج اختلفت و تعددت الآراء حولها فمنهم من ينسبها إلى الفينيقيين و منهم من ينسبها إلى بلدان الشرق الأدنى القديم فمن خلال دراستنا التاريخية و الأثرية هاته سنحاول التطرق إلى مختلف هاته الآراء و نتعرف على طرق صناعة الزجاج عبر العصور و مراحل تطورها بالإضافة إلى الأساليب المستعملة في زخرفة الزجاج و نوع الأكاسيد المستخدمة في تلوينه
Abstract EN
The Glass is considered to be known certainly, even though its existence not appears natural.
However, the successful transformation of glass into sand, then its use by multiples and different ways requires a lot of creativity and techniques.
Also the question of discovery of the glass material had caused divergence and multiple points of view, so some opinions attribute it to the Phoenician, while other attribute the discovery of glass to ancient near East.
Through the following historical and archeological study, we will try to approach its different opinions in order to know the ways of the glass through the epochs and stages of its development, in addition to the methods used for the ornament of glass and nature of oxides used in its decoration.

Le verre est considère comme matière connue notoirement, même si son existence ne paraisse naturelle.
Cependant la réussite de la transformation des sables en verre puis son utilisation par des voies multiples et différentes nécessite beaucoup de créativité et techniques.
Aussi la question de découverte de la matière du verre a suscité de divergences et de multiples points de vue, ainsi certains avis l’attribuent aux phéniciens, pendant que d’autres attribuent la découverte du verre au Proche-Orient ancien.
A travers cette étude historique et archéologique, nous allons essayer d’approcher ces différents avis pour connaitre les voies de l’industrie du verre à travers les époques et les étapes de son développement, en plus les méthodes utilisées pour l’ornement du verre et la nature des oxydes utilisés dans sa décoration.
