Abstract EN

The research deals with the grace of the mind and regards it as the greatest gift from Allah to mankind.

It is the mind that forms man' personality.

Without this grace, man loses himself and is unable to manage his life affairs, as well as to serve others.

And because the Holy Qur'an has a special approach in constructing the human mind, the Qur'an speaks first to the mind not to the heart because faith has not yet entered the heart in order to speak to it.

Therefore, surahs that are descended in Mecca speak for the mind whereas the ones that are descended in Medina speak for the heart and mind at the same time.

The researcher states that the Holy Qur'an speaks to the mind in two ways: First by questioning and answering to stimulate the mind to think.

Second by saying proverbs and telling stories to awaken the mind.
