Abstract EN

This article examines the development of education and teaching indicators in light of the educational policy used in Algeria, as well as their role in building the composite human development guide.

The results revealed a significant progress made in the field of education, where schooling rates have developed greatly and illiteracy rates have declined, enabling Algeria to achieve the first and most important development goals of the third millennium, which is to generalize education in all regions of the country and achieve rates of full schooling, especially in the basic stage.
