Abstract EN

The aim of the study was to identify the level of self-esteem among the physically handicapped students at the University of Hail, and to reveal the relationship between the level of self-esteem and academic achievement.

It also aimed to know the significance of the differences in the assessment of the sample members according to variables attributed to the academic level, and the relational descriptive approach was used, and the study was applied to A sample of (16) students representing all students with mobility impairments at the University of Hail at all levels of study.

The Self Estimation Scale was used by Najla Abu Al-Wafa (2017), and the results of the study showed that the total arithmetic mean for the level of self awareness and after self-management, self-efficacy and self-satisfaction of the dimensions of the self assessment scale for students with disabilities in Jail University is at the intermediate level, while it was Level after self-esteem and self-acceptance with a high degree, while there were statistically significant differences attributable to the variable of the academic level and a positive correlation between the total score for the scale of self-esteem and academic achievement for students with disabilities in Hail University, and the study recommended a set of And recommendations, including the need to have psychological counseling units within Saudi universities for people with motor disabilities.
