The argument is seen as an approach which adopst for strategy for persuasion and effect.

This approach is employed by the poet Ahmed MATER in his poem " Dawair El-Khawf "in order to introduce his discourse.

To get this end, the poet uses linguistic tools which are based on the sayings themselves.

Among these tools, there are the metaphor, the argument scale, intertexuality, the repetition, and the acts of speech.
