This article explores one of the most important topics in cognitive linguistics.

It is part of "the descent of knowledge to direct facts", in order to analyze and clarify their meanings and endeavor to make this knowledge a tool for a deeper understanding of these facts.

Metaphor being one of the most important subjects of cognitive linguistics, as a means of saying subjects and situations, we are not surprised if we find that many of our words are metaphors, we can hardly notice their metaphorical aspect.

And if this is the case, we have selected examples from the political discourse of Mr.

Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to try to detect and follow the effectiveness of the metaphors it contains according to the method of which George Lakoff and Mark Johnson analyzed the model conceptual metaphor.
